Savory Egg Nests

  • Ingredients
  • 6 slices of bread, crusts removed
  • 6 Tbsp diced ham
  • 6 Tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • Equipment
  • Rolling pin
  • Knife
  • Muffin tin
  • Bowl
  • Fork
  • Non-stick cooking spray

    Directions
  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly spray muffin tins with cooking spray.
  • 2. Flatten bread slices with rolling pin.
  • 3. Tuck bread in muffin tin cups with 4 corners sticking out.
  • 4. Add 1 Tbsp ham and 1 Tbsp cheese in each cup.
  • 5. Crack 6 eggs in a bowl and beat with fork. Pour egg over ham and cheese, dividing evenly among the 6 cups. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 6. Place muffin tin in oven, and bake for 25 minutes or until done. Makes 6 servings.
